I have been dreaming a lot more than normal lately.
I have woken up laughing a few times in the past couple of weeks.
The details in my dreams are clearer and more vivid than ever.
I've been trying to figure out what is causing these changes in my sub-concious, to no avail.
The only thing I can think of is I am rereading 'The Hitchhikers Guide To The Galaxy'.
I usually read a few pages before bed, but as soon as I switch off my light I am no longer
thinking of space related stuff.
I thought it might be fun to share my dream from last night.
If you don't like that idea, well then do something else ok?
I notice whenever I try to tell people my dreams they tune me out,
no hurt feelings though, I usually do the same thing.
I dreamt I was on vacation somewhere really hot, blistering hot.
Im in a hotel room alone wearing a long sleeve floor length pink flannel nightgown.
It's very uncomfortable and when I glance in the mirror I notice it's also unflattering
(when I look in a mirror in a dream I'm always blonde....weird right)
I open a closet and see a suitcase.
To my disappointment when I open what I assume is MY suitcase,
there are no clothes inside, only CD's. I've never owned any pop CD's, yet in my suitcase
I see NSYNC, Britney Spears, Cristina Aguilera that kind of thing.
Obviously useless to me.
I go outside in my flannel nightgown and see a beach....I lie down in the sand.
I must have fallen asleep because when I open my eyes and roll to my left
I see a man......Pauly D from Jersey Shore.
Weird right?
He is trying to communicate with me, but his words are coming out in music.
Piano music to be precise.
He is also wearing a hat that has a digital screen translating his notes into words, which are sliding
past in flashy red writing.
He tells me I have to find my husband.
That he is in trouble.
The next scene I am waiting in line at a bar and I'm dressed like a Snookie.
So now it's a nightmare a little.
I ask the bouncer if he has seen my husband, he tells me he saw him 4 hrs ago on the ninth floor.
I look up towards the sky and see that this Bar has 21 floors.
I'm filled with dread, and immediately exhausted.
I decide to forget about it and instead I wander down to the beach and fall asleep.
I love trying to decode this nonsense, but this one has thrown me for a loop.
If you have any ideas or would like to share a weird dream with me, leave me a comment.
